Alacati Melon
 
 
Medium Bespeckled Melon from Turkey, with delicious rich white flesh. 1-2 pound melons when ripe. Vines grow about 8 feet long. Perfect for a backyard garden. Easily grown in hard to grow areas, these even do well in Washington! Start seeds indoors and transplant outside after risk of frost has passed. Water Generously and watch them take off. Harvest when skin begins to turn yellow.

Banana Melon
 
 
Yellow, banana shaped melons with sweet and spicy salmon colored flesh inside. 5-8 lbs. when ripe. Sow outdoors after risk of frost has passed. Take 90 days to harvest, ready to harvest when melons release a strong banana scent. Big sellers at farmers markers. Small enough to grow in a small planting bed.

Copper red, stunningly striped small melon with sweet pale green flesh. Small vines produce tons of 1-2 lb. Melons. Can easily grow in containers making this a great choice for small garden spaces.

Also Known as a 'vine peach'. Little 3" Melons with fruity white flesh. Great for pickling. Watermelon
 
 
Watermelons generally have trouble growing efficiently in most regions, but these sweet little sugar baby bush melons will grow practically anywhere. Great for small spaces and container gardening, vines only reach 3-4ft with 6 pound melons that reach harvest in just 75 days. They do best in a rich potting soil with full sun and plenty of water. Keep plants moist as they germinate and begin to vine.
